FLEA TREATMENT CHECKLIST 


This treatment checklist is designed for current customers who have scheduled flea treatment services with Guard Pest Control.


For optimal results we recommend the following steps prior to and following treatment. If at any time you have any questions or concerns please contract our offices. We are always glad to help!


PRIOR TO TREATMENT

Remove and wash all animal bedding, blankets, and towels in hot water - replace those that you cannot wash.

Vacuum all rugs and furniture and dispose of bag outside immediately.

- Wash hard floor surfaces with soap and water.


- Cover or remove any food or serving dishes for pets and humans.

All pets should be treated with a professional treatment service ideally to coincide with flea treatment service of residence.

Remove all pets and people from residence, turn off air pump in fish tanks and cover.

AFTER TREATMENT:

Remember full flea control can take up to 30 days due to the life cycle of flea larvae.

Following treatment allow 4 hours for chemical to dry before entering residence.

upon return to your home Wash any exposed food surfaces with soap and water.

Vacuum all rugs and furniture daily for 2 full weeks discarding of bag after each use in a sealed bag placed outside immediately.

Speak to your veterinarian regarding appropriate flea prevention such as collars or tablets for your pets.

Do not shampoo carpets for a minimum of 30 days.

If you continue to note activity after 30 days call our office.
