COCKROACH TREATMENT CHECKLIST
This treatment checklist is designed for current customers who have scheduled cockroach treatment services with Guard Pest Control.
For optimal results we recommend the following steps prior to and following treatment. If at any time you have any questions or concerns please contact our offices. We are always glad to help!
PRIOR TO TREATMENT
All kitchen and bathroom areas should be completely swept and washed using soap and water or other household cleaner such as bleach.
Pay careful attention to refrigerator/stove washing inside/out. Pull appliances away from wall and clean behind and underneath.
Clean inside of dishwasher.
Empty and sanitize all trash cans.
Remove all items from cupboards, cabinets and drawers placing in covered boxes until 4 hours after treatment. Cabinets and drawer SHOULD BE COMPLETELY EMPTY.
WASH ALL DRAWERS AND CABINETS WITH SOAP AND WATER.
Ensure all food products are in sealed containers and properly stored with rubber lids.
Clean and remove grease from any traps and sink drains.
Remove any pets, turn off air and cover fish tanks.
Allow four hours for chemical to dry before returning to your home.
Maintain cleaning schedule in kitchen and bathroom areas eliminating food/grease and other debris immediately.
Keep waste in a sealed can that is empty and sanitized at least twice weekly.
Remove and/or repair any standing water or leaks.
Seal any cracks or crevices.
Sweep or vacuum food crumbs daily.
Do not leave pet food out overnight.
Immediately notify Guard Pest Control if any activity is noted after 14 days.
