Once the stuff bedtime stories were made of  -- bed bugs have returned. These small and invasive pests will flourish with night time feedings from your sleeping family and will require professional treatment for proper and long-term control.

Guard Pest Control is pleased to offer strategies and treatment methods that reflect the most current research available. Contact our office for information!

Signs of Bed Bugs

Bed bugs change in appearance throughout their life cycle and while they are feeding so it is important to recognize these stages in order to ensure proper identification.

You may see signs of bed bugs on your mattress or other furniture where you sit most frequently. These areas are where infestations are likely to be the heaviest. They can also spread to electronics and items throughout your home.

30% of humans do not respond to bedbugs bites. So you may or may not experience a reaction if you are being bitten.

AFTER THEIR NIGHTTIME FEEDINGS, Bed bugs will return to hiding in small cracks and crevices or inside walls where they can live up to six months without a meal. Moving rooms or sleeping locations is not effective as studies have shown they will hunt down a meal and can travel as much as 16 feet in 5 minutes*.

You may also see small red bites that appear during the night or small amounts of blood left in your bedding or night clothes.

Elimination - (not just "control")

A professional inspection can confirm the presence of bed bugs. Your pest control professional will recommend a treatment plan based on the severity of the infestation.

Guard Pest Control Proprietary Treatment Process is a complete bedbug treatment program designed to minimize the need for re-treatment and to prevent future infestations.

Do not attempt to treat bed bugs yourself. Over the counter products can make your issue worse.
